Financial Safety
Never send money to someone you met on Raily, especially over wire transfer. Wiring money is like sending cash - transactions are nearly impossible to reverse or trace. Also, do not share any financial account details or other sensitive personal information with matches. If another user pressures you for
money or personal details, block them and report the interaction to Raily immediately.
Stay on the Raily Platform Initially
Keep conversations on the Raily app during initial interactions so our safety features can help protect you from suspicious users. Scammers often try to quickly move conversations off our moderated platform.
Report Suspicious or Offensive Behavior
If another user harasses you, threatens you, asks for money, appears underage, exhibits inappropriate behavior in-person, or violates our guidelines in any other way, block them and report them to Raily via the app. We take safety seriously and will investigate.
Meet in Public
Take Your Time
Take Your Time: Chat extensively via Raily before meeting someone. Ask questions to screen for any red flags. Proceed slowly; don’t feel rushed.
Meet in Public
Meet in Public: Meet matches in public places for the first few dates, never at a private residence. Don’t go anywhere private with a date until establishing trust over time. Try to use Raily Buddy AI Concierge with preferable places and locations.
Control Your Own Transportation
Drive yourself to and from dates if possible so you control when you arrive and leave. Have a backup transport plan like a rideshare app or friend.
Leave If Uncomfortable
Don't feel bad ending a date early if you feel uneasy. Listen to your instincts. Ask someone for help if you feel unsafe.
Protect Your Personal Information
Avoid sharing personal details like your home address, work address, daily routine or your children’s names or details. If you choose to share any personal information, do so slowly and only after establishing trust.
Beware Long Distance and International Matches
Be extra cautious with matches who claim to be nearby but stuck abroad, especially if they ask for money to get home. Avoid anyone unwilling to video chat—they may not be who they claim. Stop communicating with anyone evasive about meeting or rushing a serious relationship.
Protect Your Account
Use a strong unique password, avoid logging in from public devices, and never share your login credentials. Raily will never email asking for your password. Report phishing attempts.
Tell Friends and Family About Your Plans
Let someone know where you’ll be and who you’re meeting before every date. Keep your phone charged and with you.
Stay Sober
Watch your drinks at all times, and don’t let dates pressure you into using drugs or excessive drinking which impairs judgment.
Get Help If You Need It
No safety guide is perfect. Seek help from law enforcement or support organizations like RAINN if you feel unsafe or experience assault, abuse, or trauma. Raily cares about you and will investigate any concerning incidents reported through the app. You are not to blame. Healing is possible.
