Father of 4 kids, dog, cat and Raily
During a period of my life, I found myself frequently traveling by train. These were not leisurely adventures, but rather numerous work-related trips and commutes, sometimes several times a week. On one of these days, as I sat, gazing out the window, watching the blurred landscapes rush by, I realized that the joy of travel had worn thin. And there were still five hours left until my arrival in Munich.
Glancing across the aisle, I noticed a group of people in suits, engaged in lively discussion. I wondered, could they be potential business partners or valuable connections for my project? But how could I know? Approaching them directly seemed awkward.
I spent the rest of the day exploring the market for an app that wasn't merely a travel app, nor a dating platform like Tinder or Badoo, and not a social network like Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn. I was looking for a service designed for travelers to connect on the move. And I found nothing.
When I shared the idea with friends, each of them expressed a desire for such a product. It resonated with them, just as it had with me. Our journey took us to Frankfurt, to the headquarters of Deutsche Bahn. We signed a contract, and thus, the story of Raily began.
Raily is more than an app; it's a realization of a shared need, a bridge between travelers, a platform that turns mundane journeys into opportunities, friendships, and collaborations. It's a new way to travel, connect, and thrive. And it all started with a simple observation on a train ride. That's the essence of Raily, a product born from real experiences, designed for real connections. Join us and discover what Raily can bring to your journeys.
