Acceptable Use and Moderation Policy

This Acceptable Use and Moderation Policy applies to the Raily service ("Service") operated by Summatus GmbH, a company registered in Germany with company number HRB 237306, and registered office at Frundsbergstraße 58a, Straßlach-Dingharting, 82064, Germany, operating under the brand name Raily, and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as "Company", "we", "us", "our").

The Service includes the Raily mobile applications (iOS and Android), smart glasses application, smartwatch application, website (www.raily.app), and all related services collectively provided by the Company under the Raily brand.

1. Introduction

At the Company, we're committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. This policy outlines the acceptable use of our Service and our approach to content moderation. It applies to all aspects of the Service, including user profiles, interactions, and any content shared or created through our Service.

Violations of this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination of access to the Service.

2. User Profiles and Avatars

User profiles and avatars on Raily must respect the rights of others, adhere to our community standards, and accurately represent the user.

2.1. Avatar Verification

  • Your profile picture or avatar must be a recent, clear photo of yourself.
  • Our AI system compares your registration selfie with any profile picture you upload.
  • If our AI cannot verify that the uploaded picture matches your registration selfie, you'll be prompted to either:
  1. Take a new selfie for verification
  2. Choose a different profile picture that matches your appearance

This process ensures the authenticity of user profiles and maintains trust within the Raily community.

2.2. Ownership and Consent

  • You own the rights to the profile information and verified avatar you use on Raily.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your profile and avatar do not violate any laws, third-party rights, or our Terms of Service.
  • Only use photos of yourself; do not use images of other individuals, including celebrities or public figures.

2.3. Prohibited Content

The following types of profile content and avatars are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegally obtained, defamatory, sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, threatening, abusive, or hateful imagery
  • Representations of individuals under 18 years old
  • Images that are not of the account holder
  • Content that infringes on copyrighted material
  • Heavily edited or artificially generated images that do not accurately represent the user

3. User-Generated Content

All content created, shared, or uploaded to Raily must respect others' rights and comply with our community standards.

3.1. Non-Permissible Content

The following types of content are not allowed on Raily under any circumstances:

  • Violence and criminal behavior
  • Fraud and scams
  • Promotion of restricted goods or services
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Content exploiting or endangering minors
  • Suicide and self-harm promotion
  • Explicit sexual content
  • Misinformation and disinformation
  • Hate speech
  • Political campaigning or lobbying
  • Intellectual property infringement

3.2. Conditional Content

Some content may be allowed with restrictions, such as:

  • Discussion of religious topics (must be respectful and notpromote discrimination)

4. Content Moderation

Raily employs a multi-faceted approach to contentmoderation:

4.1. Automated Review

We use AI-powered tools to scan and flag potentiallyviolating content.

4.2. User Reporting

Users can report concerning content via the in-app reporting feature or by emailing moderation@raily.app.

4.3. Manual Review

Our moderation team reviews flagged content and userreports.

4.4. Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:

  • Remove the content
  • Issue a warning to the user
  • Temporarily or permanently suspend the user's account
  • Report severe violations to relevant authorities

4.5. Appeals Process

Users can appeal moderation decisions by emailing moderation@raily.app with a detailed explanation of why they believe the decision was incorrect.

5. Policy Updates

Raily may update this policy periodically. We'll notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of Raily after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
